Neuropathic Pain

Neuropathic pain is a major area of unmet medical need.  The therapeutics currently used to treat neuropathic pain are not sufficiently effective and have poor side-effect profiles.  Neuropathic pain can be caused by trauma to the peripheral or central nervous system, by chemotherapeutic or other drug treatments, or by metabolic disease.  Our goal is to develop therapeutics that will transform the lives of neuropathic pain patients by targeting the underlying mechanisms causing their pain.
